Metal Gear Online getting 'Gene Expansion'

Metal Gear Online is slated to receive its first expansion pack entitled the Gene Expansion. This first expansion in the line of many has already been detailed and users can already get excited over the content set to release. Not only will you receive two new playable characters in Johnny and Meryl, but you'll also see three new maps that include: ""City of Sorrow," "Underground Waterway" and "South American Power Station."
On top of this, they're releasing yet another new game mode that is called "Survival." That's not all though, outside of the addition of female characters, you'll also be given a refreshing new Reward System as well as the ability to purchase the "Gene Expansion Plus" version that will offer you one more character slot.
Currently, no price or release date has been announced. If it happens during the Konami Press Conference next week, we'll be sure to bring you the news live.

Wow. So much for th "extra part" of MGS4. MGO is actually for real. Fans of it will play it for years I suspect. BTW, nothing in this world is free. Get used to it.

ill buy this one expansion pack but lets face it folks MGO is not all that and compared to SOCOM it sucks really sucks

mgo is better than socom if you think differently u havent played both games

Well 1, the new socom is not out, and you can't really compare a PS3 to a PS2 game. But actually I still prefer Combined Assault over MGO, although MGO is a game that will keep me playing until the new socom comes outs. Socom beats this game yes, but it is still a fun online game.

how can you comepare metal gear to socom? none of yo uhave played socom so...? i was hoping socom would be nasty but it does not look good at all.

I've been dying to play SOCOM, but I have to admit that that last trailer made it look like poo. It like, looks WORSE every time I see it. All I have to say is, if it's going to look that bad, it BETTER do everything else right. I already know it's only 30 FPS instead of 60. How the heck do you make a shooter 30 FPS?! It's shaping up to be a laggy mess.
