Metal Gear Online getting free Bomb Mission

Konami has revealed that Metal Gear Online users will be able to download an all-new mission for the online tactical shooter on January 27.

The ‘Bomb Mission’ will be available free of charge to all registered users of the game, and splits participants into two teams – offensive and defensive. The former is tasked with detonating a bomb at a specific location and protecting the device until it explodes, while the latter team must protect its base and neutralize any bombs planted using a special coolant spray.

    finally a game mode that makes since on MGO (sneak is pretty cool)

    DAMMIT! Why can't I have my internet put on at home already?! I wanna get back into MGO sooo bad! Completed it on all difficulties just to tie me over till I get my net on!

    This is a positive way to avoid the head-less-chickens-rambos which MGO is well known for. :P

    @6: all shooter games are know for that, ppl just adpat those same modes into all games thus making it into who can hold the gun still it longest while they spray it.

    well ... i wont go back and play MGO ... i had a great time playing it ... but since i couldn't buy the 2 expansion because konami refused to accept any money transactions from my country .... i really felt so sad because i am a MGS diehard fan. and not been able to buy the the expansions was like "a headshot " to me  ... i cant go back and play MGO knowing that someone else is enjoying the expansions :(

    Cool, with all these cool and new game modes, might consider returning to Metal Gear Online.

    cool, but mgo wont work for me..... i dont know why. it just never opens. i can only do single player and it wont even ask me to make konami id.... wtf?

    the only thing i hate about mgo is the fact that ur level not only goes up but it can go DOWN as well,very frustrating......now if only we can get a Shadow Moses map and a Tanker map.....
