Metal Gear Online receives new game mode

Metal Gear Online has received a free update today that includes a new team mode for online gamers. The new mode entitled Team Sneaking involves an Attack & Defend style of play where one team will be invisible unless spotted (much like offline) and then will remain visible until the caution timer drops down. The object is for the stealth team to basically infiltrate and destroy their target while the defensive team prevents that from occurring.

On top of this addition a new mode of play has been added for all game modes in general. "Headshots Only" is a pretty self-explanatory mode and players who commit kills without headshots will be penalized. It's good to see additions to this side of the title in an under a month since release. There will be undoubtedly a lot more to come that will help make the online portion a very solid addition to the franchise.

    The team sneak is the best thing for MGO since the regular online sneak mode. If you haven't tried it out yet, you should.

    I just tried 2 rounds and it was fun ( I made the winning capture in one round! My whole team died and the second i pcicked up the frog i ran for my life lol )

    played this earlier with friends and think it is good but will be better with more in the room (not many friends on tonight) and i didn't download anything first it was just there?

    MGO is a cool damn game, played a game last night just all stuns and knives made it interesting as you could try and pick a guy off with the long range stun rifle but had to run up to him and stab him before he woke up. I'm tellin ya this game is only gonna get better with time.
