Metal Gear Solid 4: Sony Claimed Exclusive

If anything could rival the myth of Global Warming, it’s probably Konami’s hit series, Metal Gear Solid finding its future installment on the XBOX 360. This game has been at the tip of the iceberg for rumors for a year now. A lot of 360 loyalists truly believed that this game would be ported over to their console of choice, however, at CES, Sony has officially shown that MGS4 will be a Sony Exclusive.
Alongside this unveiling was the same demo footage of MGS4 from the Tokyo Game Show in mid-2007. Also running above this demo was a screen that was revealing MGS4 facts and tidbits. One of which was the exclusivity announcement on the screen. Something else PS3 fans may be happy to know, is that MGS4 will support the new DualShock 3 controller.
Konami hasn’t officially given a statement announcing this as an exclusive, however, Sony is pouring it on hard to its consumers and investors that Metal Gear Solid will truly stay where it belongs, on the PlayStation 3 Console.

this is one of the biggest game franchises in SONY history so if they would get it on the XBOX360 it probably wouldn't be as good as the SONY version but i wouldn't really worry about the XBOX360 getting MGS4 because it wouldn't be for awhile anyway .....

Depends on how many cpys it sells if it ends up like R+C then i'm afraid the exclusively will go, let's hope it sells not well but alot.

I can't believe how many people think this is true. Global warming is a hoax. H.o.a.x. Hoax perpetrated by the elites in order to prevent the third world countrys from ever developing into industrial nations (carbon taxes) so all the Corporations will have an endless supply of slave labor to manufacture their products thus keeping their pockets full of benjamins o_O Okay............. really now, no more "MGS4 to Xbox" threads. They know its exclusive. We know its exclusive. Lets leave it at that.

tom ass, your username should be dumbass. It's obvious that both you and Dave Wales don't have science related degrees. You probably haven't even studied climate change outside of highschool. I'm not saying that climate change due to human activities is occuring merely because I heard it from the mass media. I have studied the data myself and have come to the conclusion that the theory is valid. What kind of research have you done on the subject besides watching youtube movies?
Anyway, this articel didn't tells us anything that we didn't already know. It's was established long ago that MGS4 would be a PS3 exclusive at the games launch. The question is whether it will be ported to the 360 or not. Personally, I doubt that it will be but I won't be suprised if it happens.

guys it said that it was an exclusive for the ps3 only!! stop worrying about stupid box fans. i just paid off MGS4 and GTA IV tonite. and found out that GT5 prolgue was just a demo. but, it is just 40 bucks and might get it. i am excited that i got both games.

Then why doesnt Konami confirm that it is 100% PS3 exclusive ? Why dont they make a legaly binding agreement? Is it a timed exclusive? or an exclusive forever? or an exclusive provided sale numbers get achieved? - Just confirm it Konami and we can all relax.
I guess Halo having sold over 8 million copies at full price in a matter of three or four months is the benchmark Konami are looking at. They would be licking their lips (and rightfuly so) and demanding Sony guarantee at least 8 million units too. Thats every PS3 user in the world buying two copies each... Fair enough I say.
Sony should pony up cash to cover any shortfall. Its Sony's responsibility to provide the user base so thats fair to expect. Just sell another division and pay Konami. Its worth it ( for us atleast). Either way just give us our game now, make it perfect as we can expect nothing less because we have waited long enough.

Read this post complete with sources such as jpl, nasa, mit, abc, etc. [ http://www.abovetopsecret.com/forum/thread221608/pg1 ] Earth isn't the only planet that is getting warming. Google solar warming and you will find lots of information from credited sources.

Nastra, if you had done your research, you'd understand that man-made global warming does not exist. Nasa and the main company that does CO2 diagnostics have confirmed that they have made errors regarding temperatures and the CO2 company has confirmed that they only placed this information in the media to further the Global Warming propaganda, even though false. Solar Warming, as Tom declared, is correct. What the Earth is going through is 100% normal and EXPECTED. Man cannot distribute enough carbon dioxide in the atmosphere for it to effect climate changes because it does not stay in the atmosphere for a long enough period of time. Sorry that you're misinformed and now up to date with the current news in regards to this issue.

to bad, if you have an x-box and you wan't to play mgs4 you'll just have to sell your 360 to buy a ps3, look on the bright side, ps3 has a built-in bd player whilst hd-dvd is going down hill plus you'll be able to play all the other ps3 exclusives too, ex : kill zone2, gt5, ff13 etc, just look at what you'll be missing out on with out a ps3 this year!!!!
