Looks sorta boring.  Hope it's not just plain deathmatch; needs a creative component behind it.

That's right Just8...  Months ago...  Many months, I'd say almost 4-5.  I'd also venture to say it was at TGS 07...  However, this is a more up to date version of the online portion of the game's beta version.

looks similar to MGS3 Online, but a bit slower paced. I hope the controls are more standard than MGS3, since those controls were really weird. The level design was pretty good, even though there were only a few levels. I hope the starter pack has more than a few levels.

@ just8: I saw this video a long time ago as well.  Im sure it looks MUCH more refined by now.  Get with it PSU.

i'll still buy this MGS online. if i have to i will go ovr to my friends house and play it on his ps3. i got a ps3. but,my router doesn't want to turn on  my ps3 wifi. i'm buying a new one later this year when the 120 and the 160 gigs come out.

Tofu, you won't find this same video anywhere else on Gametrailers.  I've looked through almost their entire library.  It is indeed new footage.

I never played MSG 2 or MSG 3 online but I'm unsure how well the gameplay will translate into online play. I mean it looks like steath takes a back seat. A good human player will be looking behind them and not get thier kneck snapped I'd suppose.

looks like a mix of Rainbow Six Vegas and Lost Planet. I will definitely be getting this.

Man the quality of that video is HORRIBLE.  But good shlt none the less, cannot wait for this damn game.  MGS3Online was great fun, just too bad they shafted us on the servers so soon.  MGS4 and its Online counterpart should not fail us....GOTY?

haha yea that box is definitely not gonna be a working camo,but if u could put a box sumwhere and trick people into thinking tat ur in there then tats good to reel people in and get an easy kill,but the online looks pretty awesome

I dont think that Metal Gear Online will be a hard hitter.

mgs is known for its story and gameplay not for its online play. plus no 1 sed cod4 was any good until it came out so dont knock this yet.

this looks great. lets see if it'll beat COD4
