NCsoft's Blade and Soul to appear on PS3?

'Project [M]' from NCsoft has finally been revealed as a new, graphically stunning MMO entitled Blade and Soul.
Last year during E3 2007, Sony revealed that they had entered into an exclusive deal with NCsoft to produce new titles exclusively for the PlayStation 3. This contract included titles from both existing intellectual properties owned by NCsoft as well as new IPs.
With Blade and Soul being one of the first new titles announced from NCsoft since Aion: Tower of Eternity, it's very likely that this is one of the PlayStation 3 titles from the contract. Since there has yet to be official confirmation from NCsoft, take this as pure speculation for right now.

wow gameplay looks awesome. Wether its for pc or ps3. Ncsoft is really outdoing themselves(again). This and aion look like the most promising mmos right now.
If it does come out for the ps3 and its lag free then this game will be epic.

Why would u say that? Ncsoft is one of the leading mmo game companies.
Games like Guild Wars, Lineage, City of Heroes/Villians, Tabula Rasa, and Exteel and some of thier top games.
Plus they're alos very active they currently have around 3 projects. Lineage 3, Aion, and this game. So far all look amazing.

From the video I find it hard to tell if this game is an RPG, MMO or a beat-em-up/platformer style game. So which is it?
What I know NCSoft for is Lineage & it is very very good for character details and PVP etc. Although there are elements that are disappointing, those 2 elements made the game very good to play.
I can only hope this is an MMO orientated around something like Lineage. That would be a great addition to the PS3.

I have played nearly every one of NCSofts games, (and own many of them) and they are all...mediocre. Playable yes, fun yes, but they are still...middle of the road. I would still enjoy any of their games ported to the PS3, or new IPs made specifically for it, but I would be settling because there is nothing else out there.
As for my personal preference in the MMO department, the games that I have been bouncing around most often with are Lord of the Rings Online, Final Fantasy XI Online and Vanguard Saga of Heroes, depending on the type of game and skill level that I want at the time.
As for NCSoft games, the best one so far I have played is Tabula Rasa though it has a lot of room for improvement. I cannot comment on Aion because I havent played it, though it does look interesting. As for Guild Wars, even though I own them all, they are very mediocore and have only gotten worse with each new expansion (though I have high hopes for Guild Wars 2).

Please! I'll try anything! I neeeed and MMORPG and a RTS game. Whatever comes out first in each of those genres, I'll get day one. Somebody just publish them!

Chances are Aion (sp?) is going to be showcase title from NCsoft. We will have to wait and see.

You obviously must have a different play style than most, I have played and/or beta tested every large scale and most small scale MMORPG's to date. None of them have been as fun as Guild Wars, if Guild Wars level cap wasn't so small I'd still be playing it right now. I'm currently beta testing Warhammer Online, and I can't really say anything other than that or I'll be breaking the NDA, but the second Guild Wars 2 comes out, I won't be playing any other MMO's.

Wow. That looks awesome... really hope this is for PS3 as well, but that build looks like a pc build (saw the mouse pointer on a couple of shots). But this, The Agency, DC Universe, & White Knight Chronicles all coming out next year would definitely make up for the long rpg drought on the PS3!
