Naughty Dog: Uncharted 2 trailer rendered in real-time

Speaking with Gamezine.co.uk, Naughty Dog's Lead Character Artist Richard Diamant confirmed that the Uncharted 2: Among Thieves debut trailer was rendered in real-time.

"Yes, the trailer was all rendered real-time in our engine" said Diamant.

Outside of the meticulous texture work and animation, we now know that Naughty Dog has added snow simulation to their Uncharted engine. According to early reports, the game’s story will revolve around 13th century explorer Marco Polo and includes all-new gameplay mechanics, such as free climbing and stealth sequences.

    cool,uncharted is one of the best games ive owned for ps3. cnt wait till this game is out, getting resistance 2 on friday and pre-orderd killzone 2!

    Seriously? :o So much for the previews a while back stating it looks like uncharted 1 graphics, lol, that trailer is leaps above the first game ^_^

    psn id: gingo... if there is a mixture of water, snow and jungle in this it could be one of the most impressive looking titles i've ever seen... KZ2  is amazingly realistic but uncharted 2 looks more impressive
