New Army of Two DLC coming next week

Posted on April 18th, 2008 at 10:08 EDT

Electronic Arts announced today that new content would be made available next week for the company’s PlayStation 3/Xbox 360 co-operative shooter, Army of Two.

The new downloadable content will contain four new maps featuring a number of obstacle courses, with the choice of joining the SSC (the Private Military Corp), once you've completed the course.

"We want to support our fans with new content that delivers on the two-man gameplay but with a unique twist," said EA Montreal's Alain Tascan.

“The SSC Challenge gives players a chance to test their skills in a different setting while retaining the action packed co-op intensity that gamers have come to expect in ARMY OF TWO."

The SSC Challenge mode and maps will be available for USD 7.50 on PlayStation Network and Xbox Live next Thursday.

How about if they support their 'fans' by fixing the !@#$ game?!  I still can't play that game via online coop, and that's the only reason I made the purchase...

i like AoT but the online issues were too much to bear which caused me to let it go...i would bet this new DLC will only add additional problems to the online play

@ JD-82: I got a good laugh from the replay value.

I'm not much for online play but it'd be nice to be able to play with my girlfriend without driving over to her house.  I wish I could have picked this up by now.

I got this game with a buddy of mine hopping EA had done something right. I should have never been so niaeve. This game has so many glitches, bugs, and the aiming stystem is horrible. I beat the game with my buddy and now it will go on my shelf to collect dust. No, thanks EA, F*** your DLC
