From Software has given its intriguing RPG outing Demon’s Souls the trailer treatment this afternoon, depicting vast landscapes, monstrous beasts and stunning, in-game battle footage.

Boasting a “dark fantasy” theme, Demon’s Souls allows players to forge their own character by tweaking gender, age and various assorted attributes, before embarking on a quest to the destroyed Kingdom of Voletaria. Here you’ll duke it out against legions of gigantic creatures using a variety of weaponry, each one offering a different style of combat depending if they’re wielding by one or both hands.
Demon’s Souls is due out exclusively on PlayStation 3 in 2009.

In game u say?? hmmm not heard much about this. id like to say first day buy but i'll wait till the rewiews to see ho it actually plays. i wonder if it'll be rewied early?? that would help.

I think it would be better if it was called 'Demon Soul'. For some reason, I find it difficult to pronounce Demon's Souls. The 'S''s at the ends..

NIce. This game's gonna be a must buy for me. And normally I don't like RPG's or medieval themed games. Oh, and Oatmeal, dude I've read many of your posts. Learn how to speak and write English properly, grow up, pull your pants up, and stop being a little wannabe poser and trying to act like someone your not. Better yet, just shut the fu@k up and don't post. Damn, I hate wiggers.

This game automatically logs on psn... and co-op play is availalble.
There is also the ability to jump into a stranger's game and wreak some havok ( there is a system in place to prevent experienced players from bashing noobs)
There is also these 'BLOODSTAINS" littering the ground... you can ceck them out and watch a "ghost" of a previous player's death scene. You can also leave notes... hints or clues to be read by others who will later travel in your footsteps.
Granted, I have only touched on a few of the exciting things in store for this game. you can find much more on G4's website including interviews with the developers, and live gameplay video.
