psn id: gingo... is there really a need for this when they could just release the trailers on the internet instead of making people pay to see them

they want people to pay for trailers and gameplay footage Sq. Enix dont make me laugh that hard again.  the japanese might pay for that crap and go for that nosince but i dought anybody from the west will buy trailers. only a idiot will pay to get hyped up for a game that wont be out 13 months from now. how much more money Sq. Enix need havent Microsoft payed them enough money.

which is exactly why I am not fond of SE.  People may like them because of FF, but there is only so much FF I can take before the games start to get tiring.  I got tired off FF after 8.  I have played them on the SNES and PS1, they are just tiring at this point in time.   And quite frankly after playing other RPG's and mostly MMORPG's, I think the other's have better gameplay.  The customization in these games are very generic at the least, The only differences are the swords.  The armor and everything else is basically the same throughout the game.   The stories are awesome but what you can do in game starts to dwindle after playing so many FF games.

*sigh* this is not JUST a DVD. The DVD is packaged WITH a magazine. And how is Square Enix a money whore? This is released by ENTERBRAIN, it has nothing to do with Square Enix.

And people, it's 60 MINUTES worth of stuff. That's, like, almost a feature-long movie's worth of material from the games. I'd pay for a 113 page magazine that comes with a DVD like that.

i believe they are doing this for those peole who want to have FF memorabilia.  just like people who collect baseball items.   do i see a problem with it?  no.  if someone has the money and they want this,  they can go out and buy it.  maybe those people who buy it don't have internet.  this would be their way of seeing all the trailers and footage.

Let's see, buy a 30 dollar magazine full of useless tidbits of info that you'll get from basically EVERYWHERE ELSE (online, other subscriptions) free of charge, and a DVD full of...TRAILERS?...no matter how you look at it, this is rubbish...

Not even a demo, it's 60 min worth of trailers, which will probly consist of basically the same core scenes over and over again...lawls...
