The next iteration in the life-consuming, but utterly addictive Harvest Moon series is set to arrive on PlayStation Portable in Japan in March next year.
Japanese magazine Famitsu carries the news that Harvest Moon: Sugar Village and Everyone’s Wish, translated by IGN from Bokujou Monogatari: Sugar Mura to Minna no Negai, will be developed by Marvelous Entertainment, whose last work on the handheld was the 2007 port of Harvest Moon: Boy & Girl.
According to IGN, the story will have up to 16 branching paths and will follow the career of a young boy whose aim is to save Sugar Village from planned construction work by building a successful farm on the plot. Activities will include the usual tasks of growing crops, ranching livestock and resource gathering, alongside mini-games, including fishing, horse racing and tree chopping.
Japanese gamers can look forward to March 19, 2009, when Bokujou Monogatari: Sugar Mura to Minna no Negai is set for release.
