A fresh batch of Killzone 2 screenshots have cropped up today for your viewing pleasure, showcasing the meticulously crafted texture work on the walls and concrete remains of barricades.

For those of you who remember, we posted a few screenshots a while back displaying the amazing texture work for the ground. Never before on a console game have the ground textures been so realistic, featuring individual gravel rocks and glistening effects on pools of water.

As you will see below, Killzone 2 renders the same high quality graphics on structures as well, showcasing an unprecedented amount of detail in cracks, rubble, and steel rebar that extrudes from concrete ruins.

This game is indeed looking good but I have to reserve judgement for the day that I actually get to play it.  The videos are looking sweet the screenshots are looking nice but only after pushing that blu-ray into the ps3 and spawning for the first time will I be content ... 3 months to go ... might need to take a months leave to ensure that I get full immersion /o/

I'm in the beta as well and words cannot describe this game at all! I am shocked that a game of this quality is coming out pretty early in the PS3's lifecycle which has me terrifed (in a good way) of what's coming down the road. The guns react so realistically that I get a charge out every bullet coming out of them. Phenomenal (sp?)!!

And they dont send anymore keys??

since this game come out in February the best time to drop a commercial is to have a Super Bowl commercial. plus they can anonical that a price drop is coming soon if they let that pass

Im in the Beta, the walls only look that good in still frame because the whole game has a grainy sort of feel to it. Don't buy into this crappy story because it's misleading. However, the graphics of the game in action are incredible, there should be a story about the motion blurs when you get surprised by an enemy. It's jawdropping.

One of the things I like best about this game(yes, GrugNorg0606 I'm in the beta too :) )is not only the graffix, but the amount of classes of character there are.Everything from soldier, medic, all the way down to a stealth-wearing scout. It's soo cool you guys are gonna love it!!! P.S. The pics and shots don't give the texture mapping any justice at all...
