New Killzone 2 trailer nonexistent at Play.com Live

Mild letdowns abound from Wembley Stadium as Killzone 2 appears absent from Play.com's London based game show.
After rumors floating around that a new trailer would be surfacing at the event known as Play.com Live, it comes as no real surprise that Sony in fact did not show anything new regarding Killzone 2 at the small expo. According to attendees of the event, only the E3 07 trailer has been shown.
When asked about the possibility beforehand, a Sony PR told PSU "SCEA very rarely brings software to someone else's event. Typically, we create an event and invite media/consumers to play the various products."
The show, however, does have a flurry of other big games for the year, including Haze, Force Unleashed, Street Fighter 4 and many others. The event is the only one of its kind in the UK, although similar ones have occurred in the past, they've never become annual affairs.
Expect a report from the show, and possibly some hands-on previews by Monday morning for your viewing pleasure.
Stay tuned.

Just as I thought. I was thinking that there wouldn't be a new trailer. Killzone 2 is still at least 6 months or more away, there's plenty of time for a new trailer.
I really don't expect to see a new Killzone 2 trailer until E3 in July, but it would be nice to at least get some new details on the game before E3.

I know SCEA very rarely brings software to other peoples events but what about SCEE? It is Sony Computer Entertainment Europe that is responsible for Guerillia Games and therefore Killzone 2 lol. I don't expect we'll see much of KZ2 until either E3 or Sony's own yearly Playstation event. Not a huge surprise really is it?

Killzone 2 trailer at a relatively small event, not dedicated to gaming and unnoticed by most of the world.. very wishful thinking.

I find actually it kinda funny as people and media speculate about such things and get consumers all excited... and then this happens. For those caught up in the hype, sorry for the let down, but this should come as no surprise.

Meh. I say keep working on the game. Guerilla doesn't need to spend more than their already $60 million expense.
