Some people have thought that this commercial is dumb and not very good. I personally believe it gets across it's main point. Which from it seems to be that this is a full out war between man and beast and it could be very closely related to real life in terms of where it takes place and what goes on. This commercial is dramatic and draws you in from the very beginning. I think it does a good job promoting the game.

I liked it but why didnt they add a subtitle to the game? After calling the 1st game fall of man just calling the 2nd game 2 is really stupid imo.

Have to agree with he11sjester it really could do with a sub title, something with meaning that is a carry on from the first installment. Good ad though, november is looking to be a good month

They should of had more gameplay and less random actors, Id say the trailer with the siren and broadcast was better...and doesnt this game take place in the states?

Errrr i think anyone who has played the first game, i think will understand that this game is 'Rise of Man and to the Resistance' ok it doesn't have it in the title but watch it again the words are there. 

I agree with LilSciz. Out of all advertisements for PS3 games this has to be up there with the MGS4 one. I like it.

and yeah this advert is easy to rember what it's selling but it's so bad. If I didn't know what Resistance 2 was this ad probably wouln't get me to buy the game.

I have feeling I'm going to be the only one who thinks the ad was crap.  80% of the was showing real life people with their crappy acting, and very little footage of the actual game The only part I really thought was cool was right at the end where it shows the playstation name and the chimeran head is in the background.

I thought it was crap. bad acting. gameplay footage is not that good. I dont know- I'm not really feeling the call to arms. I'd rather just have some cake and see what happens. i'll keep my sword with me though so when everybody's ready, give me a "3,2,1" and then we can all strike at once.

dumb commercial it may be, BUT it's a commercial. we complain that sony doesn't advertise enough for it games and when they do we say its dumb? make up your mind. i'll take a "dumb" commercial over no commercial anytime. i think the commercial rocks and if i didn't know any better this could pass for a rated R movie.

I think the people who have said this commercial is dumb must be retarded or you have ADD. what so dumb about different people from different backgrounds talking about creators that came bring terror. then explained that mankind only hope is to stand and fight as one and become resistance.  the game dont come out till 2 weeks away its no need to show a lot of game play now. like the title of this artical say its to get the HYPE TRAIN ROLLING.

i like the whole, RISE. STAND. RESIST! it fits and gets across the fact that this is a fight for the survival of human kind that you cannot just hide from and that you must take action, i would've done the style of the commercial differently but the it gets the point across thats what matters
