New Resistance 2 teaser

We'd go out on a limb and assume that almost everyone who reads our site has been anxiously awaiting anything new about the sequel to the hit launch title, Resistance: Fall of Man.  GameTrailers.com scored a world exclusive about the big-time title from Insomniac and we're bringing it to you within minutes from it being displayed.  We've included the video below for your enjoyment and you're all welcomed to discuss it within the comment section as usual.

Apparently we can expect a gameplay trailer on June 13, 2008.  In our opinion, Insomniac couldn't be any crueler with the release of this teaser.  Not only does the world now have to wait until June 12 to get their hands on the new Metal Gear Solid, but we'll have to wait to get our eyes on the gameplay trailer set for release the following day.  This has to be considered a form punishment.

We'll keep you updated if anything else hits revolving around Resistance 2.

    Aww, taht was kinda useless. Although, ti did kind of show what they could do on screen. That looked a lot like R&C, so it isnt impossible either. Looks like June will be a bigger month than it was before.

    Wow. Awesome trailer. I really hope this gets the same attention Halo 3 got when it gets released. The Killzone 2 team better hope their game is half as good as this looks, it's gonna hafta be about more than just looks if Killzone 2 wants to compete with this... That's way too long of a wait though... How huge is the buzz around the PS3 gonna be around June? With MGS4 dropping and the trailer showing what's to come... can't wait. The Xbots must be shaking in their boots.

    I doubt that a lot of people (PS3 owners specifically) will be watching TV on that day. Most people will still be enjoying MGS4 or MGO, whooping *** and taking names.

    Did anyone notice in the words "RESISTANCE" that the "A" had what looked like the golden gate bridge in it.  Maybe that means something will take place in California.  I know that in the first resistance, it had Big Ben in the text, though I forget which letter it was.

    You sony fanboys have got to be kidding me. This vid doesn't even show you anything and your wetting yourselves. Its no different than the useless Gears of War trailer. "The Xbots must be shaking in their boots." Please. I hope this game and Killzone release on time just to see how well they stack up to Ninja Gaiden 2 and Gears of War 2.

    Come on! look at how awsome the San Francisco attack looks!, also we know this game is going to be awsome from what we have heard from insomniac :p seriously!! 60 players online! And in the latest Full Moon Podcast the team hinted at water physics :p

    In game cinematic don't reall impress me. I was hoping for some in game footage, even just a few seconds. And all we  get is a is a cinematic. Oh, I forgot nice water effects.

    Well I know what i want for christmas, THIS GAME.  Can't wait to blow up some chimeran ships.  The graphics look awesome especially the water, so cool.  I hope this game doesn't get the same hype that Halo 3 got because that just reached stupidity last year.

    YES THIS IS IN GAME!!! Not actual gameplay, of course, but this cinematic is made in the R2 Engine. I just cant wait to see some actual gameplay footage though.

    @ Fatso: Yes the game will take place in San Fransisco among other places . That was made public months ago...

    @Demobot - Chill kid! Take the heat, we as Sony fans took it when you had all those not-so-exclusive games (most are available on PC). Hearing all that stuff about lack of content even though we had Warkhawk, Uncharted, R & C, Folklore, Heavenly Sword and Resistance in the first year! I'm sorry but you're gonna have to deal with hearing ALL about the PS3 this year. First were gonna kick it off with Game of the Year MGS4. Racing game of the year GTP (and it's just a demo!). The next BIG thing, Little Big Planet. Best looking game of the year, Killzone 2. RFOM2 60 PLAYERS! 8 player co-op! Socom! Haze! Get used to it buddy. Then you're gonna hafta deal with not one, but TWO FInal Fantasy games. Gears will be great, but it's no longer gonna have the fun factor that the first one had because you probably played it for hours upon hours already, and what are you looking foward to? The story? Please. One more thing, I wish Ninja gaiden 2 came out at the same time as GOD OF WAR 3.
