New Resistance 2 weapon revealed

The guys over at Insomniac always seem to be doing something entertaining and this latest news out of their camp is no different. From top 10 lists to displaying how they run their mo-cap sessions, 1up.com covered it all in a recent blog. One of the more important details of the blog was the revealing process of the new Resistance 2 minigun which we've displayed below.
Yes, we get it, this isn't the actual in-game model, but it's something, isn't it? This minigun, which apparently weighs a decent amount, is used for all of the mo-capping sessions and if you take notice of the screen above his left shoulder (our right), you'll see where they get to watch the motions being done live within the game's engine.
If you're wanting to check out what you'll look like if you happen to be taking part in one of these sessions, we've got you covered there too. These guys aren't just dressed up in "atom costumes" for Halloween, this is what they wear to work as well.
As for the top 10 list we mentioned earlier, well apparently Insomniac loves to create these lists for their own amusement. The latest featured list is the top 10 things they hate about running. You can really tell these guys have a sense of humor, let's just hope they can translate that over into some decently witty dialog for the game.

LOL!! THAT'S SO TRUE!! I HATE it when devs use L3 as the run button. I mean what the h***. Other than R3 it's the hardest button on the controller to hit, and we have to run like all the time!
Hopefully Insomniac gives us a great control scheme like in resistance 1. I believe run was like.. L2 or R2 or something. That was a smart move. COD 4 pissed me off with L3, and Haze did the same thing, and I'm sure a lot of other shooters.
I've since sold COD 4. Ya. Still got resistance though :)

I liked having L3 to run in COD4, but the sights in HAZE is R3 and that gets frustratiing.

Lol, I agree wit NoMercy. I like havin running at L3 even though I can work wit it anywhere. I hate R3 for aiming, though. Basically, I hope that Insomniac gives us customizable controls. Not enough games have them that need them, so I hope that they do. Or at least have killer controls.
