 It is just a little section, with a very low level enemy. Also, since when does plural of something end with " 's " ?.. It is " JRPGs ".

LMAO @ #2....give the guy a break, its not english class here at PSU (even though you are correct lol). It seems Eternal Sonata is the only good JRPG on the PS3 outside of the JP right now. (SRPGs just don't have the feel fans of traditional JRPGs want and love..so I didn't count Disgaea 3 and VC). I can't wait for this to drop....but given the truth about showing an early section of the online play and low level enemy, this video sucks total ape nuts....it gives me the feeling that I could have somehow do without seeing that small bit and still be pumped for this game.

hahaha, they could have shown some more interesting enemy.  I know you always have some crapy enemies in JRPGs so don't care; but for new comers to the genre they'll be like what the f**k

"Level-5 released a fresh BATCH of WKC game play footage" using the word ''BATCH" normally mean it more then one. Not only is it "1"  video its 1 enemy in the video the video its self is 52 seconds long. The first line real misleading...

When you want to make something plural that is abbreviated, you should use ( 's ). Please be correct when you correct someone...

JRPG's = correct

JRPGS = make you think that the "S" stands for something.

I dont know why but it looks like it has very slow gameplay. That glowing circle should spin a bit faster. Cinemetics however look pretty damn good

If I were to say, "Your K's are written incorrectly," that would be grammatically correct. The same applies to other things like that, and many people assume the same goes for abbreviations like 'JRPG'. "JRPG's are scarce of late." Since JRPG is an abbreviation anyways, it doesn't really matter whether you put an apostrophe or not.

If I have to wait until the end of the year to get this game,then screw it.I am sick of Japanese companies being lazy and taking forever to localize games for the US.I have waited for this game since 2006 and now that it's finally released I have to wait another damn year? That's BS. MGS4 was released world wide at it's initial launch and every other game should be the same.

i've never played or seen final fantasy 11 but when i saw the attack system it's just like it especially the ring that appeared and the damage points, presumably the amount of time you have to wait decreases as you level up?

1) It is turn based.  Can't you see how the white wheel works?

2) Even if it wasn't, they made turned based RPGs back in the day because with technology, they couldn't have the deep story AND the action, so that was the fix action.  Now they can have both.

 hmm, it does look like FFXI to me, too .. well, maybe showing one single RGP fight just isn't that exciting in most cases, still, the early videos seemed to promise more. i'll probably end up buying it anyway, but it just doesn't feel anymore like the game's gonna be as good as the very first trailers implied.

To be honest, i really expected more of this game. The battle system looks ok, still think it's a tad slow imo. The visuals are somewhat disappointing, it looks more like something you would have expected in the early days of the PS3.

 

However, if reviews say that the story is great than thats enough for me to buy and play it - maybe not on day one, but definatly after a price drop.
