Hideo Kojima has revealed that a new Zone of the Enders title is relatively high on his priority list now that he has completed work on his latest project, Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots.
Speaking in an interview with PSM UK, Kojima commented, “I would like to say that Zone of the Enders is quite near the priority list… [after MGS4] it might be good to change to outer space or robots or things like that for a change”.
Zone of the Enders is based around mech combat and was originally released on the PlayStation 2 in 2001. The game was accompanied by the release of two anime series, and spawned a sequel, Zone of the Enders: The 2nd Runner, in 2003.

Zone of Enders? From what I can remember that game was pretty awful.

Even though I've only rented ZOE 2 I'd love to see a next-gen sequel - especially when it comes from the master himself!
Z.O.E was a a great game because it makes it feel like your controlling a Metal Gear, the only thing that i didn't like about it was that it was short
I liked that game - and a sequel with better graphics and battle system would by sweet!

Wow, so all of that begging for this game may pay off.
One of my favorite and frantic action games of last generation was ZOE2. I hope he makes a ZoE3 as soon as possible.
And are people saying the dislike the original Zoe or zoe2. Because some of the comments here make it sound like zoe's gameplay was slow. I have never played part 1 but I can assure you that part 2 was quite frantic at times.

Also do a limited edition with all the Jehuty swag possible. This ranks as the second best newsI've heard for games coming to the PS3 since the announcement of KOF XII... (just imagine the online multiplayer carnage). And for the ones who don't like ZOE....

YEAH!!! I can't wait for this game!!! The 2nd one was freakin awesome. I know Kojima's team will learn to push the PS3 beyond, and after seing what they could have improved in MGS4, they will decide to give MGS5 a go =P
Never heard of it.. But its a Kojima game, and Kojima has a brilliantly creative mind. Another PS3-exclusive on our hands? Lets hope so...
