New details emerge for Lost on PS3

If you’re planning to buy Lost Season 3 on DVD, you’ll be in for a pleasant surprise. Included with this box set is a special features section with some concept art designs from the upcoming PlayStation 3 title itself.
Lost, which is scheduled for a late February release, will carry a lot of the cast from the first three seasons. Though there is no video footage or gameplay available on the DVD, you will be able to make out certain details about the title. We are lead to believe that you will be taking over a male character with a name that is currently not known. PSU is hoping Ubisoft will allow you to create your own character and name, but we’ll have to wait for more info before we can factually state that.
Much like the TV Show, you’ll be a survivor of Oceanic Flight 815 and you’ll have lost the majority if not all of your memories. As you progress through the game, memories will slowly come back to you. During this progression is when you’ll have the opportunity to come across previous cast members of the hit show. Even though you will be able to view past show events, you will more than likely not be able to take part in them as you have been given your own past to remember.
You’ll be given the opportunity to venture to a lot of the famous locations that were made known through television. You’ll comb beaches, explore the Black Rock, scale caverns, and even meet up with the infamous computer that is known to save the world.
Obviously, the gameplay cannot be determined just from the concept art provided; however, IGN believes it will take the form of an adventure game with some puzzles mixed in. We figure this will be a great genre for Lost to fit into and hope it takes its feet and plants them in a similar mold to Tomb Raider or even Uncharted.

OLD! there's a lot known about this game now like, the main Character in this game is called Elliott in the "real world" he was a photojournalist. but after crashing on "the island" suffers from Amnesia. we even know what some of the missions are "help sayid map the island" "help locke hunt boar" plus there's a trailer out now.
this is a MUST buy for any lost fan like myself!

its funny how these things dont get delayed huh
or even if they do you never know cas you didint knwo when they were commign out in the first place
and Dave are you new ? everything on this site is old but dont worry most people dont care i belive this site is the best way to easily get up to date on playstation events its only relly old to people who surf the internet all day for stuff that happend about 2 minutes ago like sawyer who is obviously lost obssesed keep that info comming ^.^

i am by no means obsessed with lost im a normal fan that watches it on tv and buys the dvds.
and i don't surf the net all day. i have a quick look at psu and ign then im done
back to playing my ps3
and the info i have isn't two mins old its about two months old

do u mean the game or the tv show?
because the lost tv show returns on January 31st

Never watched the show and TV-to-game transitions are usually trash, like most game-to-movie transitions.
