Square Enix has announced its full lineup for Gamescom 2015, confirming that Final Fantasy XV and Just Cause 3 will be appearing at this summer’s European gaming event.
Just Cause 3’s playable appearance marks the first time the public will be able to go hands-on with Avalanche Studio’s upcoming open-world action game, and will join the likes of Dragon Quest Heroes: The World Tree’s Woe and Final Fantasy Type-0 HD on PC.
Earlier titles will also be playable including Final Fantasy XIV: Heavensward, Life Strange and Final Fantasy XV: Episode Duscae 2.0.
Elsewhere, Hitman and Deus Ex: Mankind Divided will be showcased in hands-off form at the on-site cinema. Final Fantasy XV is the big event though, which will play host to "many well-known guests" and will receive "new insights" into the hotly anticipated action-RPG.
"At this year’s E3 we presented one of our biggest line-ups in years including several new game reveals. At Gamescom 2015 we will set another mark with the biggest show in our history," commented Phil Rogers, CEO of Square Enix America/Europe. "We are very happy to present our sensational portfolio of titles not only to industry representatives but also to gamers from all over the world. Whether it is FINAL FANTASY or DRAGON QUEST, DEUS EX, HITMAN or JUST CAUSE – Square Enix presents its biggest franchises large-scale."
