Reeves: PS3 is 300,000 units ahead of 360 in Europe
Edge of Twilight InterviewScott Miller of developer 3D Realms has said that its highly anticipated FPS Duke Nukem Forever is progressing “nicely,” but confirmed that the game will not be making an appearance at the E3 Media and Business Summit in mid-July.
When asked on a progress report, Miller told Next-Gen, “Development is swimming along nicely. Seriously nicely."
Despite this, Miller stated that the game would not be shown at E3, branding the July event as “irrelevant.”
"It's just that we view E3 as irrelevant nowadays. In fact, I wasn't even aware it was coming up," he said.
Duke Nukem Forever is currently in development for PlayStation 3, PC and Xbox 360, with 3D Realms yet to announce a firm release date, simply stating the game will be out "when it's done."

Apparently E3 is "irrelevant" to Miller.
Well, the only thing more irrelevant than E3 is the development for Duke Nukem Forever.
E3 is probably irrevelant to them because no matter what they do, the game will be viewed as a joke for how long it took
Of cours it's irrelevant for them to show duke nukem forever at E3 because in 10 years of development they still have nothing to show! They should ask insomniac to continue the game,lol!
lol i think i would have more fun waiting for MGS5. because it will be way done before we see a new trailer for this game. i am a fan of duke nukem games. but, seriously, this will take to long to wait for.

Meh the impact Duke Nukem would have now would be very little in comparison to what in store latter in the year. No indication of being a sleeper hit either.
From what I have been reading a lot of devs are pulling out of E3 this year and they have said the same thing about it being "irrelevant" but still this game is years too late to be good imo.
How can they see E3 as "irrelevant"?! Its the BIGGEST convention and simply the best way to get news out for millions of people on a project. Isnt the point of making a game is to eventually sell it to the consumer? WTF are they thinking?
All you need to know is that the 360 is getting it and you know the ps3 version is gonna be a cr@ppy port even if it aint a port its gonna be the same graphs n size game so i aint bothered

Seriously, who didn't see this coming? DN:F has already missed, what, the last 10 E3s the game has been under development. It'll probably miss the next 10, too.
Someone pull the plug on this game already. It would be so freaking funny if the game gets caned after all these years. That would be there E3 presentation, OUCH!
