PS3 Destroy All Humans still on track for Europe

It seems that earlier news regarding the cancellation of Destroy All Humans: Path of Furon on PlayStation 3 wasn’t entirely accurate – apparently, the PS3 version has only been canned in North America.

THQ announced today that the sci-fi blaster will still put in an appearance on Sony’s black box in European territories, alongside its Xbox 360 counterpart. However, there’s a catch – it won’t be out until next year.

A company representative stated: “Destroy all Humans: Path of the Furon will be released on both the Microsoft Xbox 360 and Sony Playstation 3 formats on February 13th 2009 across Europe.”

“Due to the game being shipped earlier in North America on December 2nd, a decision was made to proceed exclusively with the Xbox 360 format in that market.”

    Now I am confused. First I thought it was cancelled because the noobies could not do a proper job on the beast. Now they are going to release in Europe.

    THQ seem 2 have something against the ps3, even though we r now gettin this game. any 1 remember frontlines fuel of war mysteriously going 2 xbox without any cause or explanation, so close 2 the release date 2?

    More than Frontlines got cancelled. Big Willy Unleashed for the PS2 got cancelled only a couple weeks before its release date. With only that little amont of time left, it was sure to be like 95 percent complete. Now the NA version of PotF gets canned for no reason. This may sound stupid, but I did email thq a pi55 off note and told them I would intentionally pass along any and all bad press/vibes to anybody who will listen. That may not be much but I had to get it off my chest.
