PS3 Platinum series hits Spain

After the announcement months ago about the PlayStation 3's Platinum titles coming out in Japan and the boxart they'd wear, Europe seems to be now following suit.

While the boxart for platinum covers or greatest hits has never been the best eye-candy, it usually differs in style from region to region; however, this time around it looks like Spain is going to be looking a lot similar to Japan.

We're going to go out on a limb and predict that this style will spread across Europe and cover most retail shelves in a sunny glow of yellow. When they finally decide to reveal the boxart for the North American region, we'll keep you guys informed.

    Talk about ugly... Hopefully, in Ireland we'll get the normal Silver finish that the PS2 Platinum games had. I'm looking forward to the arrival of them, just means I can get some cheap exclusive games!

    I like the yellow. Something different. Maybe if they tried a blue.

    Not a great looking colour gold would be more "suitable"

    I hope the opt for red in the US, like they did with PS2 GH.  Or maybe a dark blue.

    stick with a gray (or 'platinum') color. They should also make any indication of the 'Platinum Series' more discreet, even moreso than the PS2 Greatest Hits.

    they're going to have to raise the standard to 2 million. Almost every game sells 1 million nowadays. MGs 4 did it the first half of its release week.

    Oh yuk! Why don't they just put an inconspicuous "GH" in the corner or something. Why the eyesore?

    They might as well call it "Sulphur Hits".

    Maybe the Spanish are a big fan of yellow?  But Aye, the straight silver or a nice darkish blue would go down much better in Australia.

    i prefer silver coloring. or gold would be nice also....but fluorescent yellow....*sigh*

    Why not make the case blue like the blu-ray movie cases? They're pretty good. I think they should've stuck with the greatest hits concept. Platinum hits is what M$ uses.

    The regular boxart would be fine. It shold only have a small fine print at the bottom.

    who cares if it's yellow. I dont play the case anyway. I just hope that they retail for 20 buck$ u.s. !

    Its not designed to look good but to catch your eye, and you have to admit, the bright yellow does catch your eye.
