The latest hardware charts at Japanese retail (data for the week ending November 16 - thanks VG247) put the DSi comfortably ahead of number two contender the PlayStation Portable, with over 85,000 sales as against the Sony slab's 38,000.
The PlayStation 3 couldn't match the Wii's performance, but managed to outsell the Xbox 360 twice over. Guess Microsoft's post-price-slash honeymoon period is well and truly over.
Full list below:
DSi - 85,327
PSP - 38,153
Wii - 26,787
PS3- 17,448
Xbox 360 - 7,983
PS2 - 5,421
DS Lite - 3,559

When Sony finally becomes more competative price wise, you'll see a stranglehold on XB360. And the Wii won't be sitting so lonely atop. Because people are bound to snap out of this is Wii is cheap and fun phase, or everyone will have had bout 1 and sales will slow dramatically.

Wow this is amazzing for Sony because look at the price they have there system compare to the 360 and Its selling more n no body is outsellier Ds nor Wii because I think that there are more casuel gamers and just want to have fun then there is hardcore gamers that go 4 graphics n compition, for example i bet more females own a DS or WII where more males own a 360 or PS3
