Pioneer unveils new Blu-ray player and titles at IFA

During the IFA convention, Pioneer unveiled their new Blu-ray player, the BDP-LX70A, as well as displaying some new upcoming Blu-ray titles including Cars, Wild Hogs, Batman Begins, and Sin City.

The new films were the highlight of Pioneer's Blu-ray theater showroom where they showcased some of the movies interactive BD-Java features. The Cars footage exhibited the "Car Finder" interactive BD-Java feature, which allowed users to search through 200 different cars featured in the movie, and even "race the clock" to find a specific cars in still frames.

Among other films, both Sin City and Batman Begins made their appearances on Blu-ray, both shown in beautiful 1080p resolutions. A release date for either film has yet to be issued, but stay tuned for more information as it breaks.

    Yes! Batman begins i've been waiting for a while now. i hope as soon as its released on bluray it sells more copys then hddvd right away, then people will know

    Hi don't want HD-DVD to die just yet, it is causing the price of both blu-ray and hd-dvd to plumit. It is good for the consumer for this fight to go a little longer yet.
