PlayStation Video Store update; August 1

Since the launch of the new PlayStation Video Store in North America, Sony has added hundreds of new pieces of video content, ranging from popular TV series to blockbuster movies. According to Sony, the updates are not tied to a weekly basis, however content will be updated in a timely fashion with detailed listings posted on the Official PlayStation Blog.

Here is a list of the latest additions:

* Fool’s Gold
* King Arthur
* Reign of Fire
* Stay Alive
* The Eye
* The Water Horse: Legend of the Deep
* Unforgiven

Also new contest has been added to the following TV series:

* Everest: Beyond the Limit
* Family Guy
* Gene Simmons: Family Jewels
* How I Met Your Mother
* It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia
* LA Ink
* Land Of The Giants
* Miami Ink
* My Name is Earl
* Mythbusters
* Prison Break
* The Marvelous Misadventures of Flapjack
* Trinity Blood
* Weaponology
* Xam’d: Lost Memories (There’s a brand new episode every Tuesday!)

    psn id: gingo... not bad additions, hopefully when the video store comes to the UK we will have all the content the US has, hahahaha who am i kidding, 3 films and an episode of family guy is probably what we will have then not get another update for a year

    Cool.  I've never seen Unforgiven or King Arthur. Done. They need some more content for adults.  This stuff for the juvenile "Mtv Jack@zz" type viewer is beneath me.

    I havent seen xamd yet. I just cant justify 4 bucks for an episode. I come close many times but have yet to commit.

    I can't wait for the Video Store to come to Canada, but unfortunately it is US only which is really what you should be calling it instead of North America all the time.  I'm not going to hold my breath though because I will probably have to wait till next year some time... nuts to that.

    the ps3 video store content destroys the 360 marketplace. I was trying to find a movie to watch yesterday and not one, yes not one of them interested me. Living in the UK, i really want the vid marketplace. Sony pictures movies own.

    I dont get it, why did they say north america if I dont have it in Canada? next time dont say North america if its only available in USA
