Pure unveiled for PS3

Black Rock Studio announced today a new off-road quad racer for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC platforms, named Pure.

Due for release in the third quarter of 2008, Pure features a variety of real-world, off-road locations from across the globe, with players able to execute a number of intense aerial-based manoeuvres whilst competing against other racers.

While the developers are keeping many details close to their chest at present, they did let slip that the title would feature online multiplayer functionality for up to 16 players.

The game will be published by Disney Interactive Studios.

    hm, well u cant do tricks in moterstorm.but i grew tired of the ones that focus around that sorta thing anyway, i like motorstorm heaps, but i guess ill give this game a fair go aswell.

    Ok, so the tricks thing could do for it what the tricks for SSX in snowboarding.

    maybe we'll get to play with micky mouse and his friend's, lol! but seriously i doubt it would beat motorstorm 2
