Rockstar’s Wild West adventure Red Dead Redemption has galloped at full stride to the top of the UK All Format Charts this past week, putting an end to FIFA World Cup’s three week reign at number one.
Punters seemed to flock to the Xbox 360 version of the sandbox romp, with the 360’s standard and limited edition versions of the game accounting for a whopping 65 percent of overall sales. PS3, meanwhile, took 35 percent.
According to Chart-Track, Redemption has proven to be the biggest release of the year so far. Can’t say we’re surprised, either, as you can see from our review here. Check out the full UK top ten below.
