Reeves on Home: "Everything is on track"

Sony Computer Entertainment Europe (SCEE) boss David Reeves has assured consumers that “everything is absolutely on track,” in regards to the release of PlayStation Home, following the online social platform’s absence at the Leipzig Games Convention last week.
“The reason is that was nothing new to say,” stated Reeves. “Everything is absolutely on track. I can look you in the eyes and tell you everything is on track.”
“The closed beta has been expanding, the open beta will come in autumn. It will be announced by the Home Group, either in London or Tokyo. I don’t know when exactly, but they are in control of it. We’ve got more third parties on board, and as far as I know it’s all on track.”
“There’s nothing sinister at all. All I’ve heard about it is good news, and I’m very close to it as it’s being developed in the next building.”
Home has endured numerous delays since its unveiling at the Game Developers Conference in March 2007, with Sony having originally planned to release the service in October 2007, before moving the launch date to Spring 2008, and finally, Fall 2008.

I can look Reeves in the eyes and tell there's nothing I see there but PR bs!!! Being in the building next door doesn't really compare to being actively involved and notified. I work 50 miles from my clients office and am continually updated on my projects. How on earth do they expect us to swallow this boo-hockey (?spelling)

Sweet!! Everything is on track... for another delay!!!
I'm waiting for a "Due to certain circ*mstances, Home will be delayed till further notice"
EDIT:
OMG!!! Did you guys know that the word "circ u mstances" is a banned word, because of the c-u-m. I spent like 1 minute trying to figure what word was banned, that is just ridiculous, I had to put an asterik to replace the letter "u".

@12
Why do people insist on saying this? You know darn well when it hits you will be the first one downloading it. (And then the first one complaining that it sucks because all the people downloading it is making the download slow...which WILL happen)

Does anyone really care about Home anymore?
I've lost almost all interest in it, they really should have kept quiet about Home until it was nearing completion IMO, i think alot of people have found their initial interest dwindle due to the fact that there was never a solid release date.
I still reckon it wont be released until March 09, regardless of what is said lol

i think it's good that home has lost all the hype, because it means it will actually be really good rather than being hyped and turning out to be awful (gta 4 over-hyped and apart from the physics worse than Vice City) IMO btw when is fall exactly?cos it could run into february

If they were really "on track" the game would have been released a year ago...
