Capcom has begun scribbling ominous warnings throughout various European cities as the publisher kicks its Resident Evil 5 marketing campaign into over drive ahead of the game’s launch on March 13.

So far the warnings have cropped up in London, Rome, Barcelona, Berlin and Paris, and depict the message “They are in Kijuji,” referring to the fictional African locale in which the game takes place.

Check out some snapshots below.

Resident Evil 5 sees hulky-armed Chris Redfield teaming up with newcomer Sheva Alomar in an effort to neutralize the latest bio-terrorism threat in a remote sun-baked African village.

Expect more on the game in the coming weeks.

But what about the demo? When do we get the demo: No one talks about it anymore. Am I the only one that eagerly awaits it?

Cause if people see this and don't understand what it means, then they will most likely look it up or ask someone else, and then it just keeps spreading from there.

I'm sorry but I'm a diehard Resident Evil fan but after seeing Sony and now capcom make increasingly bad marketing and advertising decisions that could have been done loads better, i'm wondering if all Japenese companies are inept in these Deprtments.I'm still all for these two companies, however i'm saying they suck in these two areas and could be much better.

Dumb people, never in for something new. I like this way of ads. But because of the intelligence level of people these days I guess they'll just walk past.

You'll be able to download a free demo off the PlayStation Store the week of February 5th.

The demo will include two levels and three types of co-op play: single-player with AI support, two-player split-screen on a single PS3 and two-player across PlayStation Network. Players will be able to pick between traditional RE4 controls, or a new "Action" control scheme, inspired by popular third-person shooters, like Gears of War.

    there you go!!!
