Sony has released a new TV spot as part of their marketing campaign for Resistance 2 entitled "Rise, Stand, Resist."
"They come from above."
"Their number is greater than the stars."
"They will block out the sun"
These haunting words are uttered by the legions of helpless onlookers as the deadly Chimera prepare their invasion of the United States. The trailer itself features footage from game as well as a mix of real life actors. Check it out below.
Resistance 2 is due out exclusively on PlayStation 3 this November.

in a sense... playstation always make wierd adds to grab attention.... this does but i doubt people will look at this and say..... THATS SOOO COOL I MUST BUY IT! .... keep it simple sony like the BRAVIA adds...... BTW im a big fan of resistance sooo day 1 buy for me :p

The guys in the UK probably havent seen it yet.
But I digress, THIS IS WHAT SONY NEEDS MORE OF. Yes gamers all go by word of mouth, and demos, and friends suggestions, but they're not the bread and butter of the gameing industry. You have to convince Joe the Plumber that HE needs this game and that requires a commercial during Monday night footbal that jumps off the screen like a summer block buster trailer and beats it's way through your eyesockets and out the back of your skull!
