Resistance 2 public beta open for applications

We have incoming! Insomniac Games is now inviting applications for the public beta of Resistance 2. Step on over to the official site to sign up for a shot at the PlayStation 3's biggest and baddest mutant shooter yet. You'll need to supply a PSN ID, obviously, plus your full name, postcode and details of your gaming tastes.
Resistance 2 follows on directly from Insomniac's much-loved launch title, with Nathan Hale now defending his native USA against the toothy Chimeran horde. 60-player online, skyscraper-sized Leviathans and a separate co-op campaign are just some of the highlights.
The game is out on November 4th in North America, and later on that month in Europe.

The preorder itself is US-only, yes, but the beta appears to be worldwide. We'll update the item once Insomniac clarifies things...

We will soon accept applications for players to participate in the Open Beta for Resistance 2 that will start later this year. Just check back here over the next couple months for information about and ultimately the chance to apply for the Open Beta.

Qore didn't work playstation blog said on the 2nd that the public beta wouldn't go live until October. PSU farked this article up, unless people are playing it now. My qore subscription didn't work but 1 guy on here said it did. I dont get it. Ohh well back to the socom beta

WOW. so qore definately didn't deliver. REALLY dissapointing. waste of money. this should be d/l able by now no mATTER WHAT if the annual subscription is owned. bull. simply bull. not to mention the well undeserved advertisements that shouldn't even be there. For those of you angry about not DL yet from Qore please realize that the Beta has NOT started yet...they are simply taking down registration names and from there they will send out invites. On Qore it says it should be available in late September. Look at the time between Home Theme DL which signed you up for Home Beta and the actual invites to the Home Beta...which BTW i received lol
