Rock Band site to relaunch, release date moved up

Harmonix has unveiled plans to relaunch the company’s official website to coincide with the release of its forthcoming Rock Band title later next month.

According to the developers, the site will be revamped to accommodate leaderboards, blogs, band pages as well as a special advertising section, allowing users to acquire new band members. The aim, Harmonix says, is to encourage early adopters to play together.

Additionally, the company announced that the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions of the game would be released three days earlier than expected, and will now arrive on November 20. The PlayStation 2 version, however, is still slated for release in December.

Unfortunately, European fans will have to wait until early 2008 to get their hands on the highly anticipated music simulation title.

    To you Europeans...you don't get the bad deal, just USA gets the good deals. I don't know why, cas Playstations fanbase is really outside of NA, but I just don't ask questions....But Sony is giving yall things, like PlayTV or whatever that Tivo service.
