Rock Band's 360 counterpart received three exclusive songs several months ago. The songs were only available via a disc that was bundled with one month's issue of the Official Xbox Magazine. Thankfully, the songs will no longer be exclusive to OXM readers, as the upcoming HMX Pack will offer the three songs to all prospective rockers. The following songs will be included in the pack:

"Rock Rebellion" by Bang Camaro (master)

"Shake" by Count Zero (master)

"Super Sprode" by Freezepop (master)

At a mere dollar a pop or $2.99 for the whole pack, the songs are quite affordable. Unfortunately, the songs will not be available this coming Thursday. As most of you know, Sony is working on the redesigned PlayStation Store, thus no new content will be available until it's completed. Once the new PS Store is live though, this and a ton of other content will be available for download.

    @ lilhomie Ahh!! Not again!!

    Good to see they're still pumping songs for Rock Band, and only one buck per song! Isn't that cheaper than usual?

    Good to see HMX doing he right thing. Not really interested in those songs though, maybe the Bang Camaro one.

    they're cheap because 1. they're really obcure bands to begin with (sometimes I think feezepop and Bang camaro actually have employees of HMX) which means it probably will have a hard time convincing people to buy them in the first place and 2. because they were bundled free with a magazine that cost like 7 bucks. so it makes sense.

    I'd rather spend $3.00 on ammunition to shoot HMX for selling us this crap. Seriously though, stop buying crappy band's songs people, and maybe they'll try putting good ones in the game.

    @ staziak Rock Band has a ton of good songs for DL. You realize they have to fit everyone's musical taste right, not just yours? Personally I liked the Bang Camaro song that came on the game. I have yet to hear this one though.

    @alpha

    Yes at least those 2 bands have HMX employees if not all 3 of them. But I've always love the freezeop songs in the GH's and Rock Band.

    Actually, all three bands have at least one Harmonix employee in them. Thus why they're calling it the "HMX Pack". ;-)

    Oh yes people. Please continue paying for your extra songs the devs could and should have put in the game originally.  These are only $1 each, but at the normal price of $2 each, 30 songs later, you just bought a new game.  So please, keep encouraging them to overcharge you.
