Rumor: Killzone 3 in works for 2010 release

According to Internet gossip, the latest issue of PlayStation: The Official Magazine alleges that Killzone 3 is currently "deep in development" over at Guerrilla Games, with the sequel apparently due out some time in 2010.
In addition, the magazine also states that Resistance 3 is in the pipeline for release next year, along with a follow up to Call of Duty: World at War. Sadly that's all the info we have to go on right now, though we'll be sure to keep you updated on any developments.
For now, we advise our readers to take this with a pinch of salt until we hear otherwise.

Way to soon for KZ3. Resistance 3 I can see, but I would rather for 2011 for KZ3. I need to catch up on the other games coming out next year.

Umm.... KZ3 and R3 at the same time? I doubt it. 2 major FPS exclusives at the same time would not be wise...

IF true, I'd rather see both these titles hit in 2011. The media won't do anything but bash them due to halo reach coming out in 2010. "It isn't doing this like halo reach. It isn't doing what halo reach does in blah blah blah"

Killzone2 is the best FPS on the Market, MW2 Is just MW 1 with more polish. Killzone3 will be better yet so everyone get ready to feel the pain.

I am praying that somebody has a yellow sticky note on their computer at Guerrilla Games that says "NOTE TO SELF: FIX THE CRAPPY CONTROL".
Killzone 2 could have been a system seller but the worlds worst FPS controls this generation stood in the way. It really doesn't matter how pretty the turd looks, it's still a turd. I would be more excited about a third Resistance.

to directly go against the post above me. I thought the controls were the best by far. If it's too slow turn the sensitivity up. I loved pretty much every aspect of the game (minus the pointlessly added and random cussing and of course the lack of co-op) If they put co-op into kz3 i'll be pumped, and just kill rico. I've never liked him as a character and look he always goes and screws everything up. Shoots and kills his own teammate, kills the helghan leader unleashing the apocalypse. Good gracious, lol.

I doubt it. I see Killzone 3 coming out in.... maybe 2012 maybe in 2010 if were lucky. I would love to have it come out in 2010 but cmon this is just a rumor. Although I totally believe the COD:WAW2 thing. Surprise Surprise! And I thought Activision said that WAW would be THE LAST ww2 game they make. Looks like they're going politician and lieing. Big surprise.

I think Killzone 2 was way too overhyped. While it was good it had mediocre multiplayer IMO and never really got me going in it. I still liked it just not as much as I hoped. I'll give this a shot.
