Director of PlayStation Home Jack Buser has reiterated that the online social platform’s public beta will arrive before we enter the New Year.
"We’ve been saying it will launch by the end of calendar year 2008," Buser told Joystiq, following reports that the service would launch by December 17. "And that’s getting very, very close.”
"Launch is imminent," assured Buser, though he wouldn’t budge as far as divulging an actual release date was concerned.
PlayStation Home has been plagued by numerous delays since last year, with the online community hub originally scheduled to appear in October 2007, before enduring numerous setbacks bringing the release back to the tail end of 2008.
