Star Wars: The Force Unleashed CheatsSony Computer Entertainment America has confirmed that the company plans to release a new PlayStation 2 bundle for North American territories this November.
The bundle includes a ceramic white PS2 console, a copy of the Sony London-developed SingStar Pop and will retail for approximately USD 149.99.
SCEA President and CEO, Jack Tretton, commented, “With our expansive library of titles for PlayStation, led by social gaming experiences such as SingStar, and Buzz!, we have an incredible offering for first-time gaming families.”
"At $149, the limited edition Ceramic White PlayStation 2, bundled with the family-friendly social gaming title, SingStar Pop, is an unbeatable value that will provide fun for everyone this holiday,” added Tretton.
SingStar Pop allows users to perform a variety of popular songs spanning various artists from the last two decades, including ‘Take On Me’ by A-Hah, ‘Vertigo’ by U2, ‘Fallin’ by Alicia Keys, ‘You’re Beautiful’ by James Blunt and ‘Girls Just Wanna Have Fun’ by Cyndi Lauper. The game comes packaged with two USB microphones as standard.
SingStar Pop was originally released in North America on April 3.

Great.....NOW they want to bring all the PS2 with cool colours to the USA........I guess its gonna be years down the line before we see the ceramic white and silver PS3 that was being displayed at all the earlier E3 shows, which Sony made it seem like all three colours would have been available to choose from at luanch.
Come on Sony! Stop promoting the PS2 so much, and focus on the PS3.

the reason why sony is supporting the ps2 still is because it is still the #1 selling console and the with over a 100 million units sold and they every month its still the #1 seling sony console so seems like a smart move

I agree with some of the other posts here - There are not any decent music games on PS3 so that's more reason to make something new (not stupid Singstar). This crap is not going to get people buying PS3. Sony needs to start putting 100% effort into getting PS3 sales moving. The best way is to bring some proper games out before Christmas and to bring back proper backward compatibility chip so people can upgrade and package in rumble.
