SCEE and nDreams team up for undiclosed deal

Posted on January 23rd, 2008 at 18:27 EDT

A studio by the name of nDreams and Sony Computer Entertainment Europe has signed a deal in order to produce an undisclosed title for the PlayStation name brand. We understand if you have no idea who nDreams are, however, we’re here to fill you in. The studio in question was formed in 2006 by SCi/Eidos Creative Director, Patrick P’Luanaigh and they still have yet to release a game title.

If you’ve heard of the magazine, Develop magazine, they named nDreams as one of the top 10 studios to look out for in 2008. According to them, this small studio focuses on innovation and pushing the boundaries of a gaming console while working on new and exciting storylines.

Obviously in a time where games have somewhat taken a stale turn with the generic-based experience they’ve brought to your home console, it’s nice to know there are studios out there that supposedly bring you a little something different. Hopefully we’ll learn more about this undisclosed project at GDC.

lets hope they can produce some real good games, stick to their said release dates, and keep us properly informed of their progress during development!  (not like some other developer/publishers, cough, UBISOFT cough, cough)

that is the only few things that us gamers ask!

Interesting:) Now i just hope that if that project they are working on is a success they require Ndreams. Just like it would be good for Sony to Aquire Media Molecule, Eat Sleep Play, Ninja Theory, Factor5 and some more.

it's good to see Sony still doing this.  They always bring out the underdog developers and some of them make GREAT games.   I am definitely glade to see them taking risks, risks bring out success.
