It seems a lot of speculation has gone into deciding who will make a surprise appearance or be a main component of Resident Evil 5; however, after these latest scans, it's almost expected that both Claire Redfield and Sherry Birkin will be in the game.
While the scans point out that the lovely red-headed girl couldn't possibly be anybody else other than Claire, the little girl could have other potential possibilities and doesn't seem so definite to be Birkin. The scans also discuss the reasoning behind picking Africa for the setting of the game.
"We settled on the fact that we really wanted to show the origins of the virus. So for the setting we thought, how about using the setting where humankind was born?"

i'll buy RE5 but, won't pre-order just buy it when it comes out.
I really want Jill Valentine over Claire Redfield and Sherry Birkin, I honestly could careless about the latters.
it's the sequal to RE4 chomperbull, and yes the sub-genre is surrvivle horror and the main genre is action but..umbrella is undergoing finacial problems sooooo that means no t-virus or g-virus for a while untill they come back sooo RE5 makes sence so no horrific zombie just yet lol.just wait till umbrella is revived.Right now we are witnessing the effects of los plagus and im guessing in RE5 a sister drug of the los plagas.i can't wait for this game just hope it's release is still october of this year. LoLz

I did read what you said, fair enough umbrella is done for now but isnt that what most of the story is about (companies thinking that they can get away with anything).
This los plagus virus is more like a side story to me (Now thats just what im thinking so dont go off one)

This I'm looking forward to. All the Resident Evil games have been great, although I missed out on the fourth... Bring on RE5!
