Summary

With not a lot of shock horrors available for the PSP, Silent Hill is definitely a Godsend. This title would be worth the purchase at a console price. From the beautifully detailed look, to the perfect score, 0rigins will drag you in, beat you down, and then pull you up and in for another exhilarating play-through.

We dislike

  • Camera could use work
  • Too many weapon placements

    beats as in, satanic and most f'ed up? your both wrong, try Fatal frame:crimson butterfly

    Silent Hill 1 beats all of those as far as survival horror goes

    Wow thats a really good rating, though too many weapon placements may make it too easy for veterans.

    Uncool, I would have given it like an 8.2-3 but our rating system moves in .5, so I couldn't...  It's pretty much in line with other sites, tbh.

    played the demo and enjoyed it, it plays better than the previous SilentHills

    Hmm, this gives me more insentive to buy it! Was interested in it for the longest time cuz I love the SH games but... wasn't sure how they were going to do with it, glad it turned out well. It looks really nice for a PSP game (graphically).
