Frank Miller's graphic novel, Sin City, will be transformed into a video game through the direction of developer Red Mile who recently announced that the game would utilize the latest version of the Unreal Engine 3.
"The Unreal Engine is one of the most technically advanced engines on the market and is a perfect fit for our Sin City video games," said Glenn Wong, President and COO for developer Red Mile, during an announcement on the licensing of the technology.
"The engine has powered several of the best-selling games of all time and I am very glad we have the opportunity to arm our developers with such a world-class product."
Mark Rein, Vice-President of Epic Games, Inc. also commented on the recent partnership as he stated, ""We're extremely excited to be working with Red Mile, we have been Frank Miller and Sin City fans for a long time and are pleased that our technology will be a key factor, and we're confident that they're going to make a great game with it."
Although very little has been released about specific details on gameplay or storyline, Frank Miller commented, ""...some old characters will return, new characters will appear and - without giving anything away - probably die horribly."
The only details known about the game is that scriptwriting, story writing, and the overall production of the game will be headed by Flint Dille who previously worked on The Chronicles of Riddick: Escape From Butcher Bay.

The movie was really good. I'll be very interested to see how they pull off that art style in game.

Sin City and 300 were Frank Miller's worst comic books.
It's sad that they do slavishly faithful adaptations of his lesser works and then piss all over his fine ones.

@ gingo, not ALL games on PS3 using the Unreal Engine is delayed. UT3 is already out in the US! And the X360 version won't be out for a while. If Epic uses the PS3 as the lead console, then theoretically, all version should be released as the same time (or a week or two apart)!
BTW, I think the game should be made with a Stranglehold gameplay, it should work well (IMO).

Prepare to see a gigantically bulky Bruce Willis... and other characters with bodybuilder bodies. Thats what the UE3 usually does..
