The concept of skate was so fresh compared to other skating games. The first was very good, but had its lets downs. Lets hope this one puts them right and isn't just a sequel that will be bashed out yearly like we see a lot.

I might get Skate 2. The first one is fun, hopefully the camera get's re-worked and there's actual flat land tricks and freestyle to do.

Great but seriously what cant they do with a second one that wouldnt make it start to suffer from the same things that ruined Tony Hawk's games? The best thing about TH one was that it felt like skating and was fun at first, when everything became over the top and you were doing 5 mile long rail grinds it started to suck. If Skate2 starts pushing the envelope too far for unrealistic events as this teaser suggests then it looses the sense of realism that made it fun.

skate is revolutionary and i can't wait for this. tony hawk is unrealistic, easy, and outdated (anyone who likes it better probably just sucks at skate or has given up on it just because it isn't like tony hawk...) you're small minded but hey MORE POWER TO YOU... you can like whatever you want... just dont say skate is a bad game because you suck at it. Skate takes skill and anyone who denies it is a poonsandwich. but i hope they can bring new aspects to the game that really turn the tables on what we're expecting for this. nice video though it succeeded in "teasing" me. I want more.

The first one was great, but the framerate dropping and camera got really frustrating in those late challenges.  Some of those challenges are rediculous and I don't think I'll ever fully finish the game.

 

Despite the flaws of the first, I can't wait for the second.  Bring back Children of Bodom for the next soundtrack.  More metal!
