It's not very often that PlayStation 3 owners can revel in the fact that their console of choice is about to receive exclusive DLC that the other guy won't. With titles like Tomb Raider and Grand Theft Auto shunning their black beauty, THQ is going to take a different route. For the first time in history, the Smackdown Vs Raw franchise plans on releasing downloadable content this January.
The content will include not only new wrestlers, but alternate attires for superstars already within the title. As for the PlayStation 3, gamers will have the opportunity to pick up five exclusive attires for the premiere wrestling franchise within the industry. Don't fret, these downloads will not include individually priced pieces, but instead, will feature an entire content pack.

The first content pack will include all of the items below.
- Evan Bourne - playable Superstar
- Ted DiBiase - playable Superstar
- Charlie Haas - playable Superstar
- Chris Jericho - alternate attire
- Kelly Kelly - holiday costume (EXCLUSIVELY ON PS3)
- Maria Santa - holiday costume (EXCLUSIVELY ON PS3)
- Masked Kane - alternate attire (EXCLUSIVELY ON PS3)
- MVP - alternate attire (EXCLUSIVELY ON PS3)
- Edge - alternate attire (EXCLUSIVELY ON PS3)
The pack has a price point of $4.99, which isn't too shabby for all of the content you're receiving.

Wow they aren't going to get Masked Kane? That is a total bummer for them. Santa Maria looks more like her than the original model did. WWE seems to favor the PS3 because in all their advertisements they use playstation for their games and not 360. They started on PS2 so it seems they are sticking to PS3.

I think this does the PS3 justice. The SmackDown! and SmackDown! versus Raw games have always been a selling PlayStation title, it's only fair that they pay homage to those who had created them in the first place. I'll be buying this pack not only because the Masked Kane is sweet but also to support future EXCLUSIVE DLC. I applaud THQ and Yukes. Now if only certain companies coughNAMCO&CAPCOMcough would only folow suit...

This is great news. Even though I cannot stand werestling and never have played game on it, their support of the PS3 is applauding.

@8 i dont think its "The Millioinaire Ted DiBiase" maybe its his son also called Ted DiBiase, then he can team with Cody Rhodes and make the Tag Team "Priceless". Yeah i wonder when this is coming to the UK downloads, i bagged a bargain with this one, i got the collectors edition with a free blue-ray movie and the game for £19.95, lol somewhere Game.co.uk messed up and mispriced the normal and collectors edititions, should of been £70, hahaha their loss my gain.

This is a great additon to the SVR Series, but i brought the pack. The let down is, if others do not have DLC(Dowloadble Content) Online, that means your CAS(Created A Superstar) will go to Default. This means you will have Hardcore Hollys Move set, and you will also have his entrance unless you delete the PS3 Save, this means you will have to create your character again, you first put in MAXCAS in Cheats, and then when you create a character, your character will go to 90 Overall and continue in career, to eventually make him 100 Overall.
