Small glitch found in Ratchet and Clank, but fixable

According to Shacknews, some U.S. PS3 owners may encounter a small problem when loading Ratchet and Clank Future: Tools of Destruction.

The glitch occurs when the user boots up the game for the first time and must install data to the HDD for streaming. Under certain conditions the game will read "insufficient space to create game data."

Insomniac community manager James Stevenson has come out and provided a quick solution for the issue.

"We recently discovered a bug on the US version of Ratchet & Clank Future: Tools of Destruction that some of you may encounter the first time you boot the game," said Stevenson. "When this occurs, either delete or add about 500MB of data to your hard drive and the problem will go away."

So if you are running into this problem, don't fret. Just simply remove a game trailer or two and things should work just fine.

Stay tuned for any updates on the situation as Insomniac may announce a patch later down the road.

@Kane, its not like a PC, they cannot just make a patch and release it.  The patch has to go through the same lengthy aproval proccess that any game or software for the PS3 does.

For me this isn't really a glitch or problem. I am very happy to discover that the developpers of this game have their fans at heart and quicly responded to this unconfortable situation.Good costumer service from Insomniac Games.

What good would a patch do if the problem is in the first bootup of the game?  You people are idiots
