When PlayStation 3 owners were made aware that Epic Games planned to allow modders the freedom of creating their own content for the console version of the game, the community was ecstatic. This made it possible to prolong the online experience to an unlimited degree with the induction of user-created content. Since then, we've seen a myriad of excellent mods throughout the online community.
Gamers have experienced modifications from the 360 in the form of Master Chief, from Nintendo in the form of Samus Aran, and now they can finally see a mod from the PlayStation family in the form of Solid Snake. Not the younger Snake, but the exclusive older version from the upcoming title, Metal Gear Solid 4.
The mod is being created by a user that goes by the name "genZ." Though the model is still in production, it is looking fantastic as proven by the image below. These mods are definitely unauthorized additions to the game itself, but despite that, they're all welcomed fully.

As more of these incredible mods are released, we'll be sure to keep you up to date.

Maybe I should start playing UT3 some more and download some of the mods.... Too bad that UT3 didn't have the Assault mode (probably not the right name) like in UT2004.
For some reason UT3 doesn't sound like it has a big community. That game kinda just got here but nobody really noticed. Probably cause the single player experience is so weak.
I wasn't impressed with UT3... but this is cool to know! I never downloaded mods just because the game was not that great to me!
holy nice
