Sony Computer Entertainment Inc. (SCEI) has launched a new teaser site for a mysterious new PlayStation 3 game referred to as “dress.”
For additional information, Sony trademarked "dress" with the following description:
"Providing exhibit space of virtual reality environments in the internet for computer generated 3-dimensional design of clothing on-line retail store services featuring downloable video game software, software for creating dress and wears for virtual reality avatars, software used for creating virtual reality avatars, and software for computer generated 3-dimesional clothing for avatars entertainment in the nature of fashion shows."

Duh! What?? I bet loads of cool games have been delayed so that this could be finished. I realize that they have other people to cater for but why are the real supporters of PS3 putting up with delays elsewhere for doodie like this?
It doesn't say if it's SCEA or SCEI or SCEJ. If it's out of the London studio it'll probably be half finished and over priced. Like all the iToy stuff.
This is OBVIOUSLY how they're starting/helping user-generated content in Home. Not bad. Pretty ambitious, actually. But I agree that something somewhere is suffering because of it. I like Qore. I really do. But I swear, if Qore held up In-Game XMB at all, that ticks me off.

What do you mean download themes? I never tried this site, but you can download themes from www.allps3themes.com right there directly with your PS3 browser. They have all the same themes you see everywhere else. Then just go to themes in your PS3 settings and it's right there with th rest of them. If that's not the info you needed, disregard.

you can download directly using the in-cuilt browser or download them to a file on a flash drive make sure the file you save it in is called THEME and then plug it into your ps3 and follow the instructions ;)

Well judging from the style of the logo it is most likely an add-on application for home that will let us FULLY design our avatar's clothes..in which case I'm all for it !!

I think there are plenty of females who would be interested in this, it would be even better if you could design stuff and actually have it made though. That would be awesome.

I thought this was a tie in for Home where people could design and sell costumes and stuff for the avatars? Home is getting fairly close...I bet this is just going to be announced as an add on or other tie in to Home.

Things like Qore, Dress, The 4 seasons garden and ect are amazing, sony is creating different things from its competitors and thats what makes the ps3 so amazing! i already knew about this from the home beta....people can use this program to create their own clothes for their home avatars.
How come some of the people on here are still just guessing at what this is? I've read the article ONCE, and afterwards, I came to the realization that this is a feature that will allow people to customize their avatars clothing. The piece is meant to be read to be understood, not just guessed at what people THINK it's about. I mean, it's right there (last paragraph) in black & white for petes sake. Read, dammit. READ
