Sony Computer Entertainment UK has said it is aiming to release the PAL version of Killzone 2 in a “similar timeframe” to that of its North American counterpart.
The hotly anticipated shoot ‘em up from Guerrilla Games was recently confirmed for a February 27 release in the U.S., though a European release date remains undecided at the time of writing.
However, speaking to Videogamer.com, a spokesperson for SCE UK commented: "We are targeting a similar timeframe for the release of Killzone 2 in the PAL regions; specific launch dates will be communicated at a later date.”
Stay tuned for further information here at PSU as it breaks.

It's being developed by a European developer so why do we get it after the americans? We should get it first surely? Or is it another fuc* up by SCEE? M$ can release GOW2 worldwide on the SAME FREAKING DAY! Why can't Sony?

If we don't get this game on the exact same day as the US, it'll be the first time I resort to importing. It's made in the EU ffs, just like LBP, Motorstorm and Home!

What I don't understand is, why can't they just release it in Ireland and the UK then? We both speak English. Let the rest of Europe wait..

i have a bad feeling about this... like it has been stated before the game is being made in europe so why the possibility of another release date? also this game is rated 18+ and i reckon that most european ps3 owners over 18 have a basic grasp of the english language to play the game. finally (and her come a well worn-out argument) sony says that the ps3 is ahead in europe. therefore we european players are sony's backbone right now so surely we should be treated as such or we might just pull the legs from under the body so to speak
@gingo the 27th of feb. is a friday so sorry that line of thinking doesn't work (unless we get it the friday after - march 6th)
