Sony sells 10 million PSPs in Japan

Sony Computer Entertainment Inc. (SCEI) announced today that approximately 10 million PlayStation Portable units have been sold in Japanese territories as of July 15, 2008.

In addition, the platform holder also confirmed the release of two new bundle packs in the form of the Metallic Blue Value Pack/Metallic Blue Seg Pack 1, which will go on sale in the region on July 17.

The handheld games machine is currently available in a total of seven different colours in Japan, and sports over 580 local titles.

    i want a blue metallic psp :( if anyone has the kratos red psp let me know if its worth buying!

    They have so much better games in japan. I have about several newer demo's from JP and I am tinking about doing some importing.

     

    And omen MH2P is one of the best selling games in japan.

    Great news for Sony. But how will they get that number for the PS3? I know, MONSTER HUNTER! C'mon Sony, if u want to see some serious cash, spend some for exclusives. Now its on Nintendo's machine. And Final Fantay XIII....
