Lord of Arcana, an action-RPG for the PSP, will be released on January 25, 2011, Square Enix announced today. The game will be available on UMD and through the PlayStation Network as a digital download.
Lord of Arcana looks a lot like Capcom’s Monster Hunter PSP games; you’re able to journey alone or with up three other players, taking on monsters and leveling up in a dark fantasy world. All the usual RPG fare is accounted for, including dozens of quests, guild challenges, a crafting system, epic boss battles and the like.
The ESRB slapped a Mature (17+) rating on the game in North America, so expect dark themes and brutal combat.
