Square Enix to open US community website

Square Enix has announced plans to open a new community-based website geared specifically towards North American users.
Scheduled to open on March 24, the site will contain exclusive features such as downloadable content, developer interviews, sweepstakes and various trailers for upcoming Square Enix titles.
Those of you who are interested in joining will be required to register, thus granting you access to the website when it launches this Monday.

Hopefully SQUARE will keep a keen eye on the website to be more in touch with their fanbase. Take suggestions to heart and stuff like that. It's bound to be full of stuff that will be noticeably different from any Japanese counterpart.

How about the rest of the gaming world, huh?!
There are a bigger fan base outside of the US for the FF series and other RPG games. Those are SqEn's most valuable assets and we are their biggest loyal fans! Fair go mate!

Never thought I'd see the day. Japan's had this for a good 3 - 4 or so years if I remember correctly. Hopefully this means Square is gonna start having more simultaneous events and game releases.
